Enjoy this conversation we had with her. 😉

aha! Trybe: How long have you been a member of aha! Trybe?

Gbemisola: About 5 months. I joined in September, 2022.

aha! Trybe: Why did you join the Trybe?

Gbemisola: I was trawling through Ms. Joy Bewaji’s timeline on Facebook when her post on aha! Trybe caught my attention. She said amazing things about joining the Trybe. I was intrigued and wanted to see for myself, hence, I joined.

aha! Trybe: How would you describe your experience with us so far?

Gbemisola: My experience with aha! Trybe has been fun, educative (I learn new health tips) and amazing. The first time I joined, I was lucky to win a one-month free health cover subscription.

aha! Trybe: What do you like most about the Trybe?

Gbemisola: It’s hard to say a thing I like most about aha! Trybe. I like everything about it. I am not the type that listens to radio or TV news. So, the weekly headlines is one of the things I look forward to every week on Trybe. I love the daily nuggets, tips for a healthy lifestyle, ThursdayTrivia, and lots more.

aha! Trybe: What did you want to become when you were a child?

Gbemisola: A medical doctor.

aha! Trybe: What is your current occupation?

Gbemisola: I am a budding Economist, a prospective student of the University of Lagos. I haven’t resumed yet because the ASUU strike affected my set. While waiting for resumption in September, I work remotely.

aha! Trybe: What do you love most about your job

Gbemisola: Like I mentioned earlier. I work remotely. It’s funny and miraculous how I got my job last year November. I work with an agency. We are just like intermediaries or agents between Nurses and Healthcare facilities abroad. Nurses upload their Timesheet (Names, Shifts, number of hours they worked) on an app. Our job is to cross-check their Timesheets and confirm with their Healthcare facilities. And after confirmation, we process their payment immediately.

I am glad for the opportunity to work at this agency. One thing I love about my job is the exposure. The agency I work for is an international company, and working there has made me gain insights about many things.

aha Trybe: What does Success mean to you?

Gbemisola: Success, to me, means to prove those that wrote you off wrong. Prove them wrong! Constantly trying and giving your best even when odds are not in your favour.

aha! Trybe: Tell us a particular quote or principle you live by?

Gbemisola: Slow and steady wins the race.

aha! Trybe: Why does this principle mean so much to you?

Gbemisola: This principle made me stop comparing myself with others. In life, we are all on different races. It’s just like you are climbing a ladder, once you miss or try to skip a step, you will lose your balance. Unfortunately many are in a hurry to skip a step so as move to the next step.
I’m not in a hurry to have it all figured out.

aha! Trybe: How do you keep yourself motivated?

Gbemisola: When I get flustered and discouraged. I look back at the amazing things I have done in the past; not like I’m dwelling on my past laurels or achievements, but as a motivation that I can still do more and not to give up.

aha! Trybe: What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?

Gbemisola: I enjoy reading books, surfing the internet, and sleeping during my leisure time.

aha! Trybe: What advice would you like to share with members of the community?

Gbemisola: Life has no duplicate. Live life to the fullest and enjoy each day. Allay all fears and take off all worries, everything will be fine.

aha! Trybe: Do you have a business you would like us to patronize?

Gbemisola: I don’t have a business, but I would like you to patronize my sister’s business. She sells perfume oils, body sprays, deodorants, and perfumes at affordable prices. You can reach her via this link [clickable]

aha! Trybe: What would you do with 5 million Naira?

Gbemisola: If I am given 5 million Naira, what would I do with it? A lot of things, but not so many things because Naira has no value. 😂 But here’s just an analysis.
I will get a good Laptop. My budget will be #250k and enroll for tech courses. The world is advancing, and likewise technology. The remaining money will be invested in Electronics. My sister works for a company that sells Electronics like TV, Washing Machine, Microwave, Fan, AC etc. She told me that there’s money in Electronics. There was a day she gave me an analysis of the profit they usually make on each sale. I was surprised! I would like to invest in it, and the profit from the business will be plunged back to it, with time, it will just bloom!!!! Become one of the popular companies in Nigeria. Very soon you will hear Solatronics: coined from my name (Gbemisola) and Electronics. 😅

aha! Trybe: Anything else you’d like to share with us?

Gbemisola: Just to say thank you so much. I’m honored to be featured on the member spotlight. 🙇🏿‍♀️🙏
